THE ONE-WAY DOOR · REVISITED
Nine Days Ago We Read This Wrong
On August 19 we said Nvidia was financing its own demand. The earnings answered, and the answer beat our read.
Start with the correction. Nine days ago this letter said Nvidia had stopped selling chips and started financing them. On Thursday the company added about four hundred forty billion dollars of value in one session.
The circularity was not our invention. CNBC listed it among the things investors were nervous about going into the print. Huang answered it head on.
Then he produced a number we had not weighted. Sales to AI cloud, industrial and enterprise customers came to forty point three billion dollars. That was up one hundred thirty eight percent, and it is demand from outside the circle.
Our read is softer now.
But the same week handed over something we missed, and it is not on Nvidia’s books at all.

Adjusted earnings came in at five dollars ninety against three twenty seven expected. A mark on a private stake did much of that work. |

FROM OUTSIDE THE BOX
Dear Reader,
I’m in the middle of sending a recommendation out to my readers, urging them to act quickly on this.
We all know that SpaceX went public.
And so many investors I’ve spoken to are so disappointed because they thought the IPO would make them rich.
But that was never the big opportunity.
What people don’t know is that the IPO just triggered the “Final Phase of Elon’s Master Plan.”
Which means that very soon, billions of dollars could start flowing into one specific ticker.
And no, it’s not any of Elon’s companies.
This trade idea is overlooked, and I think could be your move of the year... if you act fast and play it right... because that flow of money could start any day.
Watch it all the way through. I explain what the “Final Phase of Elon’s Master Plan” is, the ticker that stands to benefit most, AND how to play it…
Regards,

This is the part worth keeping. A chip maker invests in a lab. The lab gets more valuable. A software company holding a piece of that lab books the rise as profit.
The loop now shows up as earnings. It does not go back.
Not everyone collected. Marvell grew revenue thirty seven percent and raised its forecasts. The stock fell eight percent anyway. Same week, same industry, opposite verdict.
Your end of it is the earnings line you read. When a gain on a private stake carries the beat, the headline number is not the business. Look at where the profit came from before you trust the move.

SAME THREE QUESTIONS, NEW ANSWERS
The One-Way-Door Test
| 01 |
Can it be undone?
The financing structure is intact, but the demand behind it is wider than we said on August 19. That line has not been crossed.
| 02 |
Who is already repositioning?
Nvidia guided a full year for the first time it has ever done so. Salesforce booked the gain. Marvell beat and fell anyway.
| 03 |
What does being late cost?
Nothing forces this question before the next print, a quarter out. We are telling you that plainly instead of inventing a deadline.

THE MOVE · WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME
Open the last earnings release from any AI name you hold and find the line for gains on strategic investments.
This will not tell you a company is weak. It tells you which part of the beat came from running the business.

WHAT’S LEFT AT THE BOTTOM
You just watched us change our mind on the evidence, which is the only reason to trust the next call. The rest of the street is still trading the headline number.
