THE ONE-WAY DOOR
Your Gas Bill Now Has A European Bidder
Europe has banned Russian gas from January 2027. Its storage is the lowest in years going into winter.
Two prices for one molecule. Gas at the Louisiana hub costs about ten dollars a megawatt hour. In Europe the same fuel costs about seventy eight.
A gap like that does not sit still. It pulls cargoes. Every tanker leaving the Gulf Coast is a bet. Rotterdam pays better than Georgia.
Europe went into this week short. Dutch benchmark gas climbed above sixty eight euros on Tuesday, the highest since early 2023. Storage sits low for August. That is the month it fills.

Matt Drinkwater at Energy Aspects notes the emptier storage runs, the less can be withdrawn on a peak demand day. Low stocks and hard cold compound. |

FROM OUTSIDE THE BOX
The economy is swinging up and down like crazy. Markets can’t find a floor. Gas prices are through the roof. And your retirement account changes every time you check it.
Here’s the truth nobody wants to say. This is bigger than Trump. You can’t fix 60 years of irresponsible government spending in two years.
Even Trump admitted when he took office “there could be some pain.”
But what if there’s a shortcut?
Buried in a little-known document from Trump’s economic agenda, there’s what some experts are calling a “reset switch.” One executive action that could fundamentally reshape the entire economy.
No vote. No Congress. One signature.
Why should you care?
Because the Americans who position themselves before he flips that switch could make a fortune.
And this isn’t some complicated Wall Street strategy. If you can read this email, you can take advantage of it.
A free report explains exactly what this reset is, how it works, and the simple step to get positioned.
Most people will ignore it. They’ll trust the talking heads on TV and hope for the best.
But if you think there’s even a small chance this could happen, isn’t it worth 10 minutes to find out?

Then there is the date. Europe has legislated a full stop on Russian gas imports from the start of 2027. The largest supplier it ever had comes off the board by law, not by accident.
That does not come back.
Somebody has to fill that hole. Morningstar puts Europe’s need at sixty four billion cubic meters of American gas. The firm calls that roughly seventy seven percent of total United States exports. Wood Mackenzie says Europe is near crisis territory.
Qatar’s new capacity is not full until late 2027.
Your end of it is the export terminal. Every one on the Gulf Coast is a permanent pipe between your furnace and a foreign auction. Before those terminals existed, American gas had nowhere else to go.
Do not overread it. American households still pay a small fraction of the European price, and that holds this winter. What changed is that the fraction gets decided somewhere else.

EVERY LEAD PASSES BEFORE IT RUNS
The One-Way-Door Test
| 01 |
Can it be undone?
The terminals are built and the offtake contracts behind them are long. This sealed years ago, and this is the winter it shows up on your bill.
| 02 |
Who is already repositioning?
Energy Aspects, Morningstar and Wood Mackenzie all put out warnings this week. Dutch gas hit its highest level since early 2023 on Tuesday.
| 03 |
What does being late cost?
January 2027 is when the ban binds. Qatar’s new supply lands after that, not before.
THE MOVE · WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME
Call your gas utility this week and ask whether your winter rate is fixed or floating.
This is not a forecast that your bill doubles. A fixed rate removes one variable you do not control, which is the whole point.

WHAT’S LEFT AT THE BOTTOM
You know which way the gap runs and which question to ask your utility. The rest of the street finds out in January, on paper, in an envelope.
