PANDORA’S BOX
EVERYTHING GOT OUT. THE HOPE IS AT THE BOTTOM.

THE ONE-WAY DOOR
The books closed on September 30. The borrowing came to $2 trillion.
Washington spent $7.4 trillion and collected $5.4 trillion. The gap is now a bill that renews every few months.
The fiscal year ended on September 30. On Thursday the Congressional Budget Office put the final number on it. The government borrowed $2.0 trillion over those twelve months.
That is $218 billion more than the year before. Revenue rose 3%. Spending rose 6%. The gap did the rest.

Something strange is happening to your money.
It wasn’t voted on. It wasn’t debated in the Senate. And most Americans have no idea it’s even taking place but…
Not with crypto. Not with a digital currency. Something far bigger than that, and it’s already been signed and sealed in the back rooms of D.C., ready to be issued by the U.S. Treasury.
Bypassing every legal and political channel under the guise of “national security,” Trump has enacted this total money reset using a landmark executive order (1421).
Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, whether you support this new money or not, it doesn’t matter.
Soon, every U.S. citizen will be forced to use Trump’s New Dollar to fill their gas tank, buy groceries, and pay medical bills.
Which is why I’ve produced a critical new documentary laying out exactly what Trump’s New Dollar means for your savings, your investments, and your family’s financial future.
Detailing three important steps you can take today to prepare, including the name of a core band of assets connected to Trump’s initiative that could surge as a result.
As you’ll see in my briefing, the last time America reset its money like this, under Richard Nixon’s presidency in the 1970s, it created one of the greatest wealth divides in the history of our nation.
On one side, it minted an average of 1,300 new millionaires a day for over half a century. And on the other… the folks left behind, drowning in debt, with no idea how to use America’s new money to create wealth.
As Trump rolls out his new dollar, the question is:
Good investing, Porter Stansberry
PS. If you’re wondering what Trump’s new money will look like, when it will be issued, what it means for your investments, all of those questions are answered in my briefing.

Here is the line that reaches you. One piece of that spending is interest on money already borrowed. Budget people call it net interest, and it buys nothing new.

$1.1 trillion
PAID IN INTEREST ON THE DEBT LAST YEAR, A RECORD
→ |
More than one federal tax dollar in five went to interest. It paid for borrowing already done. No road, no benefit, no ship. |
The interest line grew by $115 billion in a single year, up 11%. Two things pushed it. A bigger pile of debt, and a higher rate on every piece that came up for renewal.
CBO published a second paper the same day. It priced what happens if borrowing costs stay above the assumptions in its February forecast.
They already have. The 10-year Treasury yield now sits more than a full percentage point above what CBO penciled in back then.

A weaker dollar is not weather. It does not simply happen to a country. It is a policy choice, and it is being discussed openly right now. For anyone holding cash, bonds or a traditional retirement account, that choice lands directly on your purchasing power. It lands slowly at first, then all at once, and without any announcement you are likely to notice in time to act.

Run that forward and the arithmetic moves fast. Half a point above plan adds nearly $2 trillion of deficits through 2036. A point and a half adds $6 trillion.

Washington and the homebuyer borrow off the same curve. On Thursday the average 30-year mortgage rate reached its highest level in almost three years.
You have heard the debt called a crisis for forty years, and the sky stayed up. What changed is the price of carrying it. Interest now costs the country more than national defense.
The year is shut and the money is spent. The bill for it comes due again every few months, at whatever rate that morning brings.

EVERY LEAD PASSES BEFORE IT RUNS
The One-Way-Door Test
01 |
Can it be undone?
Not the borrowing. Fiscal 2026 is closed and the $2.0 trillion is on the books. What stays open is the rate it gets refinanced at.
02 |
Who is already repositioning?
CBO released the final number and the rate scenarios on the same Thursday. Treasury rolls the debt constantly, and buyers set the price at every auction.
03 |
What does being late cost?
Every month of higher yields repeats on the next renewal. Checking what your own cash earns costs you one evening.

THE MOVE · WHILE THERE IS STILL TIME
Look up what your savings account pays right now. Set it beside what a three-month or one-year Treasury pays this week, which your broker or TreasuryDirect shows on the front page. Write both numbers down.
Treasury interest is free of state income tax and still taxable federally. Cash you can draw on tomorrow has a value of its own. If rates fall, money tied up for a year rolls into less.

The government published its own harder case this week, in plain tables anyone can open. Most savers will meet the higher rate inside a mortgage quote or a renewal letter. You can price yours this weekend.
