PANDORA’S BOX
EVERYTHING GOT OUT. THE HOPE IS AT THE BOTTOM.
THE ONE-WAY DOOR
Your 2027 tax brackets are already decided, and the math behind them is missing a month
The adjustment comes to 3.24 percent. The IRS has not published it, and the window it was taken from closed on August 31.
Eleven months. That is how much inflation data went into the figure that sets your 2027 tax brackets. The formula asks for twelve.
The twelfth was October 2025. It was never published. The government was shut down that month, and the index simply does not exist.
Here is how the machine works. Every year the IRS widens the brackets and the standard deduction using a slow version of inflation called chained CPI.
FROM OUR PARTNERS
The national debt has crossed $40 trillion.
When you started saving for retirement, you expected Social Security, Medicare, taxes, and the rules around your money to remain relatively predictable. But while you were working and building your nest egg, Washington was borrowing.
Now, the cost of that borrowing is growing…and retirees may feel it through a quieter threat: a dollar that buys less each year.
Since 2020, the dollar has lost roughly a quarter of its purchasing power. A retirement account can appear unchanged on a statement while the cost of groceries, insurance, property taxes, and healthcare continues to climb.
Meanwhile, central banks have bought more than 1,000 tonnes of gold per year for three years running.
This Free 2026 Wealth Protection Guide explains why some retirees are paying attention, why stocks, bonds, funds, and cash can share the same dollar-based exposure, and how physical gold and silver differ from paper assets.

THE NUMBER THAT SETS YOUR 2027 BRACKETS
→
Every month that feeds it is already printed. The IRS can announce this late, but it cannot announce it different.
The rates themselves do not move. Seven of them, from 10 percent to 37 percent, are permanent now.
What moves is where each one starts, and how much income comes off the top before any of it applies.
The 2027 brackets move 3.24 percent, and the figure is already final.
Put it against your own income this year. Did your money move faster than that, or slower?
Hit reply and send us one word: FASTER or SLOWER.
The standard deduction is the part most households feel. Two forecasting firms put it at $16,600 for a single filer next year.
That is $500 more than this year. For a married couple filing jointly it goes to about $33,200, up $1,000.
There is a second deduction on top for anyone 65 or older. It is projected near $1,700 a person.
The bottom bracket widens too. The 10 percent band is projected to run to $12,800 for a single filer, from $12,400.
None of this is official. The IRS publishes it in a Revenue Procedure, usually in the last week of October or the first week of November.
Last year’s came out on October 9. So the paper is close.
That is the odd shape of this one. The decision is made and the announcement has not happened yet.
Now back to the missing month. A shutdown stopped one reading, and the average was taken over the eleven that existed.
Nobody estimated it. Nobody filled the hole. The tax code for 160 million filers was indexed to a gap.
PAID PARTNERSHIP
By the time most people understand what’s happening, their savings and investments could already be stranded on the wrong side.
This has nothing to do with crypto. Or a central bank digital currency. Something far bigger is in motion, and it’s already been signed and sealed in the back rooms of D.C., ready to be issued by the U.S. Treasury.
Bypassing every legal and political channel under the guise of “national security,” Trump has enacted this total money reset using a landmark executive order (14241).
Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, whether you support this new money or not, it doesn’t matter.
Soon, every U.S. citizen will be forced to use Trump’s New Dollar to fill their gas tank, buy groceries, and pay medical bills.
Which is why I’ve produced a critical new documentary laying out exactly what Trump’s New Dollar means for your savings, your investments, and your family’s financial future.
Detailing three important steps you can take today to prepare, including the name of a core band of assets connected to Trump’s initiative that could surge as a result.
As you’ll see in my briefing, the last time America reset its money like this, under Richard Nixon’s presidency in the 1970s, it created one of the greatest wealth divides in the history of our nation.
On one side, it minted an average of 1,300 new millionaires a day for over half a century. And on the other… the folks left behind, drowning in debt, with no idea how to use America’s new money to create wealth.
As Trump rolls out his new dollar, the question is:
Trump’s New Dollar
Good investing,
Porter Stansberry
PS. If you’re wondering what Trump’s new money will look like, when it will be issued, what it means for your investments, all of those questions are answered in my briefing.
What it means at your kitchen table is simple arithmetic. If your income rose more than 3.24 percent, a slice more of it crosses into the next band.
If it rose less, the brackets outran you, and you keep a little more. That is the whole mechanism.

Today’s edition is about a number that is already decided and not yet published.
A company name can sit in exactly the same state.
If you want to look at a business connected to Elon Musk, the first step is knowing which one it is.
That is the specific promise behind Elon’s 100X AI Stock, a briefing from Behind the Markets.
It offers the name of one little-known Musk supplier, a firm he has relied on since 2012.
The briefing costs nothing to read. Access requires signing up with your email address.
You get a company name to investigate. The decision about further research is left to you.

Pull your last pay stub from 2025 and your most recent one. Work out the percentage change between them. Write 3.24 beside it.
These dollar figures are forecasts, not the IRS. Two firms land within a rounding step of each other, but wait for the Revenue Procedure before you move real money.
